It's our mission to get everyone into the perfect fit, and since we're redefining sizing it will likely take at least one exchange to get to know your size. So, we've made it super easy to exchange your item. We'll even pay for shipping!

Each exchange is hand-packed by our women-run team in Bishop, California.

Start a Return/Exchange

Take these steps to make sure you get the perfect fit:

Help us save the planet and reduce unnecessary shipping. Be sure to follow the steps below before starting your exchange or return.

1. Exchange before you return!

Returns put a lot of strain on our small business. Please consider an exchange before processing a full return.

2. Measure your perfect fit.

If you haven't yet, check out our Size Guides and follow the steps to make sure you have the right size and cut.

3. Consider a Higher Cut.

If you feel you don't have enough coverage you probably need a different cut. If you ordered a Low Cut try out the High Cut, regardless of cup size.

4. Try out your Basewear!

Move around, wear it all day, take your Basewear outside! Don't worry about sweat or deodorant marks, we're used to it. Bottoms are a bit different! Keep your liner in tact for an exchange. ;)

5. Go for a swim and get your Basewear wet.

Yea, we're serious! Try wearing your Basewear top in the water if you're unsure about fit. It tends to adapt to your form a bit more after a few wears in the water.

How To: Returns & Exchanges

Start a return in our return portal by entering your order number and email address. From here you can select the following options.

Exchange an Item

You have 60 days to exchange your item for a different size, cut or color. If you are not sure what size you need please do not hesitate to Contact Us so that we can help you find the perfect fit. Once you know what size you need choose "Exchange" and we will send you an email with a link to your pre-paid return shipping label, on us. Include your newly requested size or color in the note area. Mail your qualifying return/exchange using the label provided. Once it is received and approved, Tera Kaia will send out your newly requested item with no additional shipping charges. If you need to exchange a second time you will need to provide the shipping to return the second top.

Return an Order for Store Credit

You have 60 days to return your order for store credit. Just choose "Store Credit" and we will send you an email with a link to your pre-paid return shipping label, on us. Mail your qualifying return/exchange using the label provided. Once it is received and approved, Tera Kaia will provide the original amount as store credit to be used at a later date.

Return an Order for a Full Refund

You have 30 days to return your order for a full refund. Just choose "Refund" and we will send you an email with a link to your pre-paid return shipping label. Mail your qualifying return/exchange using the label provided. Once it is received and approved, Tera Kaia will refund the amount, with a $6.45 deduction for restocking, to your original method of payment.

International Returns / Exchanges

International shipping is available by request only and does not include exchanges. If you are interested in placing an international order, we ask that you first head to our Size Guides to make sure you have the perfect fit, as we won’t be able to do an exchange.

Once you are certain of your basewear size contact us with your address to request a shipping option for your location. From there, we can enable an option for you to check out on our website.

In-Person Returns

If you purchased a top from us in person at a trunk sale or event you can contact us to arrange a return. You have the option of either sending the top back in the mail, or meeting us at the next local event.

Late Returns

You have 30 days to send back new purchases made at terakaia.com for a full refund. After that 30 day period you have an additional 30 days to exchange, or return your order for store credit. We ask that you try to stick within these guidelines, however we accept almost all exchanges as a part of our perfect fit guarantee.

I used a promo code or purchased a sale item and need to return my item, can I still make a return?

Yes, promotional discount code purchases and sale purchases can be returned and exchanged as long as it is in the realm of 30 days since the purchase date.

Items marked as "Final Sale" may not be returned or exchanged regardless of the 30 return policy.

How long will it take to process a refund/ exchange and see my card refunded?

It may take up to 2-3 weeks including receiving the shipment to process a return or exchange. After your return has been processed it will typically take 2-5 days for the funds to appear on your bank statement.
